The Elysia String Quartet is a string quartet based in the South Lakes District, performing at civil and religious venues across the Lake District, Cumbria and Lancashire.
We are happy to play your selection of classics or popular tunes and can often play your special requests. A variety of packages are available, with each performance individually tailored to add an elegant atmosphere to your special day. We also have a solo violinist available for smaller events.
The Elysia String Quartet were recently featured on Border TV's "Lookaround" programme.
Our most recent performances have included weddings at Armathwaite Hall, Muncaster Castle, Storrs Hall, The Sharrow Bay, The Swan Inn, Newby Bridge, The Low Wood Hotel and The Netherwood Hotel, to name just a few!
We have also played for the opening of Dobbies' Garden Centre in Carlisle and at Kendal museum.
